Information and Referral
Information and Referral/Community Relations works with a variety of different programs aimed at providing education and services to the public.
SHARP (The Sertoma Hearing Aid Recycling Program) is sponsored by local Sertoma Clubs. SHARP reconditions used hearing aids and provides them on a long-term loan basis to eligible low-income persons aged 65 and over.
Sign Language Classes are offered throughout the year to the public. On-site classes can also be arranged for companies or groups. Come and use your signing new skills at our monthly Silent Dinners.
Children's Holiday Party for children who have hearing loss and/or speech impairments includes free games, food, prizes, and a signing Santa Claus.
Information about hearing loss for both adults and children is available upon request.
Community Education Presentations are available free upon request for schools, civic organizations, businesses and other interested groups.
Equipment Loan Program allows individuals and companies to borrow TTY's, decoders, etc. for several weeks with a refundable deposit.
Lending Library of books, periodicals, and videos are available for use to TSHA members.
